Þakgil is a sheltered green canyon and campsite in the highlands behind Vík in South Iceland, reached by about 20 km of gravel on Route 214 (Kerlingardalvegur). Its name means roof-canyon, and its best-known feature is a dining area set inside a natural cave, lit by candles and warmed by a fire, amid moss-covered hills and hiking routes toward Kötlujökull.
